Imabi is great for reviewing and reinforcing as it goes into the whys and hows of grammar and language constructs far better than most other english- language texts; but i think it goes a bit too deep into the nitty- gritty too quickly on many topics. Imabi is a japanese grammar guide site with over 400 entries covering anything from specific grammar patterns, to words and history. 週末は何しますか？. Complex or abstract words don' t necessarily detract from clarity, though they can make the text less accessible, but imabi' s style completely detracted from the clarity of the text because much of it was syntactically messy. I genuinely feel like imabi makes most japanese grammar seem more complicated than it needs to be with the way he writes.
